Kanajar, a Parish dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes situated in the rural interior region of Karkala Taluk, Udupi District is one of the few parishes whose catholic population is a formidable strength of the Society both in size and economic contribution. Established almost 65 years ago, the parish has produced a number of intellectuals and entrepreneurs.
